Hotel Description

Nestled in the historic Musrara neighborhood of Jerusalem, Diana’s B&B stands as a charming three-star accommodation that offers an authentic and intimate Jerusalem experience. Located at 10 Hulda HaNeviah Street, this exceptionally well-rated bed and breakfast boasts an impressive 9.6 rating, placing it among the most beloved accommodations in the Holy City. The B&B’s strategic location bridges the gap between East and West Jerusalem, offering guests the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of cultures that define this ancient city. Just a short walk from the Old City walls and the iconic Damascus Gate, Diana’s B&B serves as an ideal base for travelers eager to explore Jerusalem’s most significant historical and religious sites, including the Western Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and the Dome of the Rock.

The exceptional 9.6 rating of Diana’s B&B speaks volumes about the quality of service and experience that awaits guests. This family-run establishment has perfected the art of hospitality, combining personal touches with professional service to create a home away from home for travelers from across the globe. Each room at Diana’s B&B has been thoughtfully designed to reflect the unique character of Jerusalem, featuring local artwork and traditional design elements that honor the city’s diverse heritage. The accommodations strike a perfect balance between comfort and authenticity, offering modern amenities while maintaining the charm and character that one expects from a boutique B&B. The morning breakfast—a highlight frequently mentioned by satisfied guests—showcases the fresh, local flavors of Israeli cuisine, with homemade bread, locally sourced fruits, and traditional Middle Eastern specialties that provide a delicious start to a day of exploration.

What truly sets Diana’s B&B apart, however, is its location in Musrara, a neighborhood with a fascinating history and character all its own. Once a border zone between Israeli and Jordanian territories before 1967, Musrara has evolved into a cultural mosaic that reflects Jerusalem’s complex history. Today, it’s known for its art scene, with the nearby Musrara School of Photography and New Media adding a contemporary edge to this historic area. The neighborhood’s narrow stone streets, lined with Jerusalem stone buildings, offer a glimpse into the authentic daily life of Jerusalemites—far from the tourist crowds yet conveniently close to major attractions. Guests at Diana’s B&B can experience the rhythm of local life, from the calls to prayer that echo across the city to the bustling Mahane Yehuda Market, which is just a short transit ride away. The B&B’s hosts, known for their extensive knowledge of the city and genuine desire to enhance their guests’ experiences, provide invaluable insights and recommendations that transform a simple stay into an unforgettable journey through one of the world’s most fascinating cities. Whether you’re a pilgrim visiting sacred sites, a history enthusiast tracing the footsteps of ancient civilizations, or a curious traveler seeking to understand the complex tapestry of modern Jerusalem, Diana’s B&B offers not just accommodation, but a doorway into the heart and soul of this eternal city.

beautiful room, really tasty breakfast, excellent location and very kind owner

  • Angela from Austria – 26 June 2023 (9/10)

Diana's B&B is an excellent accomodation if you are looking for something special. Uriel is extremely helpful and makes you feel home in his place

  • Dominik from Germany – 25 June 2023 (10/10)

We had a fantastic stay in Uriel's charming apartment right next to the old city of Jerusalem, just 5-10 minutes walk from the Damascus Gate in a quiet and quaint location. Uriel was an incredibly helpful, generous and knowledgeable host, giving us very detailed tips of what to see and how to fit everything in to our short stay and being a great companion at breakfast or for a glass of wine on the terrace, sharing some delightful tales of his life and the city. One of the best things about the place is that there is only one guest room (with a private bathroom) which makes everything so much more personable, like staying with family.
We can 100% recommend a stay with Uriel if you're lucky enough to visit this amazing city. Thank you for our lovely stay!

    What could be improved: Nothing.
For taller people the size of the shower may be a bit uncomfortable. If you're allergic to cats then it may not be ideal. We found the cats lovely and friendly and Uriel makes a point of strictly keeping them out of the guest's suite but they are in the shared living space.

  • Almut from Switzerland – 22 February 2023 (10/10)

I had the chance to book this extraordinary accommodation last minute. From the beginning I received help in organizing transport and ideas what I could see. The location is spot on in walking distance to many sights. You will get help from Uriel all the time if necessary and in the evening a cinnamon tea with a little conversation about the day makes it all worthwhile. Highly recommendable!

  • Ingrid from South Africa – 13 February 2023 (10/10)

The owner, Dr Uriel Adiv, was extremely helpful with advice re daily activities and put together interesting daily itineraries including details of transport . Uriel also arranged a private taxi for visits to Bethlehem, Masada etc.
He is very knowledgeable . He also took the trouble to phone before we left home to advise against use of a hire car in Jerusalem and, on our return, phoned again to make sure that we arrived home safely.

  • Henning from Germany – 12 September 2022 (10/10)

Uriel is a fantastic host with lots of stories and recommendations. Breakfast is awesome! Location is just great. Furnishing of the place is lovely – even with a piano.

What could be improved: No A/C.

  • Johanna from Finland – 14 July 2022 (10/10)

My whole stay I felt like was home. The room was beautifully decorated and showed the owner's interest in art and history. B&B was situated in Musrara where you can find beautiful architecture and gardens. The owner and his son were very warm and kind people. They helped me to get the most of the stay and I had a chance to visit incredible places which I would not have known otherwise. Very authentic Jerusalem experience. Highly recommended!

  • Carolyn from United States – 8 June 2022 (10/10)

it’s easy to get around in Jerusalem. From Diana’s B&B we were in easy walking distance to the Old City. We most enjoyed our host and appreciated his knowledge and helpfulness with planning our visit. Breakfast was delicious!

    What could be improved: nothing

  • Nazare from United Kingdom – 5 September 2023 (9/10)

We really enjoyed staying at Dr. Uriel's B&B.
Dr. Uriel is an extraordinary person, very kind and provides us with precious information about Jerusalem.
The breakfast is delicious. And the location is excellent.

What could be improved: The shower is a little small.
If you have any mobility problems, you may have a problem with the entrance stairs.

  • Rafał from United Kingdom – 21 February 2023 (10/10)

Thanks once again for your hospitality, it wouldn’t be same without yours advices. We already told our friends that we’re lucky to meet you. Now we are trying to explain to our friends how it is in Jerusalem and that if they are planning to visit Israel 🇮🇱, your place is “must be” on map.
Once again thank you that was amazing journey through history and plenty of religious history
